Osian Wyn Bowen

Welsh tenor Osian Wyn Bowen studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama under the tutelage of coach John Fisher and tenor Adrian Thompson.

Osian is a 2025/26 and 2026/27 English National Opera Harewood Artist. In 2022/23 he was a Scottish Opera Emerging Artist. Prizes and awards include the 2019 MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Winner, 2018 Geraint Morris Memorial Award, Mansel Thomas Memorial Award for Music, The Manning Singing Prize for Tenors, Aileen Price Award, D Afan Thomas Award, 2020 & 2022 Welsh Singers Showcase Finalist & 2019 Ian Stoutzker Prize Finalist. Recent engagements include: Remendado in Carmen (ENO), Tamino in Magic Flute Lite, cover Albert in Albert Herring (Opera North), Ferrando in Così fan tutte (Garsington Opera), Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Venditore di canzonetta in Il Tabarro, Remendado in Carmen (Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera), cover Ferrando and Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni (Welsh National Opera), Il Cavaliere di Ripafratta in Salieri’s La locandiera (Bampton Classical Opera). Forthcoming engagements include Spoletta in Tosca and Gaston in La traviata for ENO, when he also covers Alfredo.
