Following their spectacularly successful season in 2012, Eifman Ballet returns to London with the UK premiere of Rodin and reprised performances of Anna Karenina as part of the UK-Russia Year of Culture 2014; where his astonishing choreography re-tells the fate of Tolstoy’s famous literary figure focusing on the Anna-Karenin-Vronsky love triangle.
'The production leaves one applauding the Eifman company for its passionate integrity, and Eifman himself for a gift for showmanship.' Laura Thompson, The Daily Telegraph
'Eifman's style is big, bold and spectacular, with lots of wide-legged lifts and a dramatic dance vocabulary… This is dance drama designed for maximum effect.' Neil Norman, Daily Express
Performed to a specially recorded score. Running time: Approximately 1hr 50mins (including one interval).
