Following two London seasons Andris Liepa’s Les Saisons Russes XXI Century return with performances of Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera-ballet Le Coq D’Or based on Pushkin’s fairy tale.

Rimsky-Korsakov’s final opera was first staged posthumously in 1914 by Diaghilev with choreography by Michel Fokine, designs by Mikhail Larionov and Natalia Goncharova. This new production was premiered in Moscow April 2013 and subsequently presented in Paris, and is lead by the renowned Russian director George Isaakyan
