David Webb is supported by the Mills Williams Foundation Fellowship
A recent graduate of the Royal College of Music International Opera School, David joined the Harewood Artist Programme at the English National Opera this April. He will be making his Debut as A Young Sailor in Tristan and Isolde and in spring 2017 David will be playing Frederick in The Pirates of Penzance.
Highlights in his 2015/16 season includes the roles of High Priest, Abner, Amalekite & Doeg in Barrie Kosky’s acclaimed production of Handel’s Saul for Glyndebourne on Tour, the Young Sailor in Daniel Kramer’s new production of Tristan und Isolde for the English National Opera, Evangelist Matthäus-Passion with Les Violons du Roy and Bernard Labadie and Evangelist in Bach’s Johannes-Passion with the Oslo Domkor
Forthcoming: Frederic The Pirates of Penzance (ENO).
Recent highlights include: appearances at the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Opéra Comique in Paris, Theatre Caen and the Brooklyn Academy of Music; High Priest/Abner/Amalekite/Doeg in Barrie Kosky’s production of Handel’s Saul (Glyndebourne on Tour). Concert engagements include Evangelist in Bach’s Matthäus-Passion (Les Violons du Roy/Bernard Labadie), Evangelist in Bach’s Johannes-Passion (Oslo Domkor) and Messiah (Royal Northern Sinfonia/ Brabbins).
