Geraint Hylton was a treble with WNO, and studied at the Welsh College of Music and Drama and at the Royal Academy of Music. He is a member of the ENO chorus.

Career Highlights

Geraint has toured internationally with some of Britain’s leading vocal groups, and recordings include many film soundtracks and work with the Ambrosian Singers, London Voices and the London Sinfonietta.

Notable engagements elsewhere: The Magic Flute and Rossini’s Signor Bruschino, Ferrando Così fan tutte (Camberwell Opera), the title role in Geoffrey Bush’s Lord Arthur Saville’s Crime and the British premiere of John Cage’s Europera 5. Concert appearances include works by Gavin Bryars (ICA), Monteverdi’s Vespers, the Bach Passions, Messiah, Elijah and The Dream of Gerontius, Simpleton Boris Godunov and sung Commander X in the UK premiere of Ruders’s The Handmaid’s Tale, Narraboth Salome, Flute A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Arthur Jones Billy Budd, Marschallin’s Major-domo Der Rosenkavalier, Remendado Carmen, Ambrogio, Drunken Guest Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and First Guard in the premiere of Ryan Wigglesworth’s The Winter’s Tale.
