Our suggested age guidance for The Magic Flute is 5+.

This production includes projections of fire, snakes, water and a storm.

Within the production there are moments referencing suicide using hanging and a gun, sexual scenes, and depictions of disability including the use of mobility aids, portrayed by able-bodied performers.

Production Information

This opera uses both live and recorded projection throughout the piece.

There is the use of a suspended and moving platform throughout. There are bright neon lights used in the piece, which at points face towards the audience.
