Adrian is currently Senior Lighting Technician for ENO.
Adrian has worked extensively with Dance and Drama companies in the UK and Australia, including the Old Vic Company, Cambridge Theatre Company, Australian Dance Theatre, Rambert, Richard Alston Dance Company, Siobhan Davies Dance, Yorke Dance Project and is currently Senior Lighting Technician for English National Opera.
Career Highlights
Adrian has previously been responsible for relights of Phelim McDermotts The Perfect American for Brisbane Festival and Robert Carsons A Midsummers Night Dream for Philadelphia Opera. As Associate Lighting Designer to Peter Mumford he worked on Ashley Paige’s This House Will Burn for The Royal Ballet, Lautrec and God Only knows in the West End.
His original Lighting Design credits include Bird Song and Four Quartets for Siobhan Davies Dance Company and for Maresa von Stockert’s Tilted company Marjorie’s World Unhinged, Glacier and TrAPPED.
He has designed extensively for Yorke Dance Project including Robert Cohan’s Canciones del Alma, Lacrymosa and Twilight and Yolande Yorke-Edgell’s Divisions on a Ground, Strandgade 30, City Limitless, Post Etiquette, Unfold to Centre, Untethered. and realised the lighting for Kenneth MacMillan’s Sea of Troubles. He has designed the lighting for works by Richard Alston, Mark Baldwin, Jeremy James, Charlotte Edmonds, Wendy Houstoun, Lea Anderson, Siobhan Davies, and Maresa von Stockert
