Henna Mun, a South Korean soprano, born in Japan and raised in Canada, is the 2024 John Christie Award recipient at the Glyndebourne Festival, winner of the 2025 Clonter Award, and a current Harewood Artist with the English National Opera.
She originated the role of Phyllis in Mark-Anthony Turnage’s The Railway Children (world premiere, Glyndebourne) and will make her principal debut at the ENO as Josephine in HMS Pinafore (2025/26), followed by her return to Glyndebourne as Nympha in L’Orfeo (2026). She was a Glyndebourne Jerwood Young Artist in 2024.

A 2025 graduate of the RCM International Opera Studio, Henna also holds degrees from the Royal College of Music and McGill University, studying with Mary Nelson and Dominique Labelle. Internationally, she has appeared at the Verbier Festival, London’s BST Hyde Park with Andrea Bocelli, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre with Sumi Jo and the Tokyo Universal Philharmony Orchestra.
