I am North Yorkshire born and bred and from a farming community moving to London in the 1980s. I took early retirement from the Civil Service having worked in a number of different Departments including The Forestry Commission, HMRC, Home Office and Ministry of Justice. I also spent time at the weekends at The Royal Albert Hall.

I consider myself to be a people person and have had numerous volunteer roles with many organisations. I have been involved in many one-off events over the years which has given me wealth of knowledge on what goes on in many parts of London.

Currently I give my time in the main to Covent Garden Community Centre (CGCC) and Dragon Hall Trust. This involves direct contact with members, facilitation of events and group leader on trips out including to The ENO. I consider myself a bit of an all rounder doing my utmost to try and uplift people’s spirits and hopefully contribute positively to their well-being.

I have a keen interest in Cinema, Theatre what’s going on in the world generally and local history especially around the ex Dockland Areas of London.
