Opera Unwrapped: HMS Pinafore

Our Opera Unwrapped series sees us joined by members of the cast, company, artistic and creative team as they discuss taking the production from page to stage in immersive detail. Whether that’s finding our what goes on in the rehearsal room with the singers, doing a deep dive into the music with the conductor, or discovering the creative vision with the director, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the show before opening night.

Cal McCrystal’s HMS Pinafore was first performed in 2021, and our panel will discuss bringing this hilarious revival of Gilbert & Sullivan’s nautical love triangle back to the Coliseum and take questions from our guests.
