Taiwanese conductor Yi-Chen Lin trained as a pianist and violinist in Vienna and was later mentored by conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Alberto Zedda, Bernard Haitink and David Zinman. Yi-Chen made her conducting debut with the RSO Wien in 2009 and from 2020-23 appeared in numerous productions as Kapplemeister and Musical Assistant to the GMD at Deutsche Oper Berlin. Her concert and operatic work has taken her to prestigious concert halls and operatic stages across Europe. 

Recent and current engagements include: Parsifal (Wiener Festwochen), Rigoletto (Royal Danish Theatre) and Così fan tutte (Konzert und Theatre St. Gallen). Recent symphonic engagements include: concerts with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, DSO Berlin, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Bochumer Symphoniker, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Konzerthausorchester Brlin, Orchestre National de France and Orchestre National de Montpellier. Previous operatic engagements include: debuts at Lyric Opera Chicago (La Cenerentola) and Den Norske Opera (Dialogues des Carmélites), and returned to the Bregenzer Festspiele (Tancredi). This is her ENO debut.
