Marg Horwell is a Tony and Olivier Award winning costume and set designer for theatre, opera and film, as well as an installation artist and photographer.
Marg’s recent credits include Dracula on the West End, The Picture of Dorian Gray on Broadway and the West End (Tony and Olivier Awards), as well as The Seagull at The Barbican and The Maids at Donmar Warehouse. Other recent credits include The Confessions (Alexander Zeldin Company/The National Theatre), The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (Sydney Theatre Company), The Dead City (Deutche Oper Am Rhein), Carmen (Opera Australia), The Marriage of Figaro, The Human Voice and The Call (Opera Queensland), Lorelei (Opera Queensland/Victorian Opera), Because The Night (Malthouse Theatre), and My Brilliant Career (Melbourne Theatre Company). Marg designed set and costumes for Salome (English National Opera), Avalanche (Barbican Theatre), Leviathan (Circa), and Common Ground (Chunky Move).
